2011 TASK Tournament Information

Structure and Rules

For U10, U12 and U14 all teams will compete in a round robin style tournament. Each team will play 3 games, at the end the team with the most points will receive 1st place, and the second most points will be 2nd place. U12 and U14 teams will play all teams in their division, while the U10 teams will not play 2 of the teams in the division. All pairing were determined by random dice roll

Points will be awarded as follows:

3 points for Victory
1 point for a Draw(tie)
0 points for a loss
+1 point for each goal scored (maximum of 3)
+1 point for allowing 1 goal
+2 points for allowing 0 goals

The tournament winner will be decided using the following criteria and tiebreakers in the order listed below

Highest Point Total
Head to Head comparison (if applicable)
Tournament Win Loss Percentage
Lowest Goal Differential (encouraging competitive play)
Fewest Goals Allowed
5 Kick Penalty Shoot Out
Rock, Paper Scissors (2 out of 3)
